Description

#6 Mount Lebanon production rocking chair of maple, with arms. R. M. Wagan-era pommels and single back slat, scrolled arms, smoothly domed mushrooms capping front-post tenons mortised through arms. Vase-turned arm supports. Wire nails pin chair joints. Green and green with pink stripe tape seat, faded; twill weave on all surfaces. Muslin-covered seat pad. Remnants of Mount Lebanon Shaker Trademark decal on inside of proper right, rear post, between stretchers.
