Basswood chest, ends rabbetted into front/back and nailed. Basswood divider held in place by nails through front, back, and bottom. Basswood bottom nailed on. Cherry "bin-pull" handles screwed to ends. Lid hinged with three leather hinges. Appears to be unfinished; exterior surfaces have assumed a pleasing warm brown patina.
