Description

Clothes rack of pine, iron nail rivets and washers, and steel screws. It has a lathe turned central standard supported by tripod feet. The standard has three sections left square whose flat sides serve as pivoting surfaces for the 12 cross arms which actually pivot on flat head wood screws with washers. Each group of three cross bars is attached to a support at the out end with iron rivets and washers. These joints also pivot so each assembly can be raised to close or lowered to open the rack.
