Description

Steel bar with integral fixed leg with two spade-shaped cutters at end and two moveable legs, each with one spade-shaped cutter at their ends. Moveable legs can be locked in place using their thumbscrews which apply pressure to the bar top via a pressure plate below either thumbscrews. A slot is cut into the box side near one end. Two brackets, one on each side, ride in this slot and they can be locked in place via another thumbscrew. At the end beyond the slot a fitting with points to either side is pinned in yet another slot sized to match the center of the points fitting. A scale extending from 0-2 1/2" is scratched into one side of the bar to either side of the fixed leg. The full inch marks are stamped "1" and "2" toward either end.
