View from the Church Family, Mount Lebanon, NY, to the North Family
Description
A pair of nearly identical photographs mounted on a buff-colored card to create a stereographic view. This view was made from the road in front of the Meetinghouse (1824) looking to the North Family. None of the Church Family buildings are visible in the view but several of the North Family buildings can be identified. From left to right, they include, the North Family Upper Dwelling, a glimpse of the Great Stone Barn between the Dwelling and a tree, the Lower dwelling or Second House, and to its right the Brick Shop.
