Oval box template, Church Family, Mount Lebanon, NY

Object ID:

Community:
New York, Mount Lebanon
Description

Sheet zinc swallow tail template for #11 oval box with vertical center line tack row drilled but no holes in tails themselves. For some reason, the two tack holes above and below center have been filled by inserting copper tacks through the holes, peening the insides, and filing the surfaces smooth. Another hole exactly centered has been drilled through the template.
